M ariia Eroshin’s name is synonymous with excellence in family office management, finance, and accounting, family governance and legacy, private wealth management, impact investing, and private equity. Her academic and professional achievements, financial prowess, and transformational leadership style have earned her the respect of ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, Big 4 accounting firms, investment firms, banks, and more.
Education
Since completing her Bachelor’s degree (Summa Cum Laude), majoring in Finance, Accounting, and International Studies from the University of Minnesota, Mariia has never looked back. She quickly picked up her Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA), and Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) professional designations, as well as Bloomberg equity and fixed income certifications. Moreover, she completed her MBA from the Wharton Business School at the top of the class and was Wharton’s first-ever female Palmer Scholar.
Professional Career
From being a senior auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm to expanding her leadership capabilities to family offices and private wealth management firms, Mariia Eroshin has done it all. Mariia Eroshin, CFA, CFP®, CPA, MBA, has had a long career as a family office achieved excellence in family office management, finance, investments, accounting, family governance and legacy private wealth management, impact investing, private equity, managing diverse teams and executive leadership. Throughout her career, Mariia Eroshin has held various leadership roles, such as CFO, Head of Family Office, CEO, Director of Investment Research, and Senior Portfolio Manager at family offices. She has also worked as the Senior Vice President at UBS Financial Services, Inc., Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management, and Director at Citi Private Bank. Additionally, Mariia Eroshin has experience as a CPA in a Big Four Accounting Firm’s Global Asset Management Practice.
Academic & Teaching Career
Mariia Eroshin has substantial academic and teaching experience. She has been teaching Alternative Investments courses as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of San Francisco for over 15 years, including Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, and Family Office Due Diligence. She has also taught Derivatives II courses and served as a guest lecturer in Portfolio Management, specifically in Private Wealth Management.
